Business Intelligence Analyst

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join Incommunities on a permanent basis. We are looking for someone with strong data warehouse skills, experience of building ETL processes, designing facts and dimensions and good knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, SSAS and SSIS. We want you to join our team and assist in delivering great BI to our internal customers. We are also working directly with Bradford University in an exciting 2 year partnership to deliver AI and Machine Learning models, so lots of opportunity to widen your knowledge and skills.

  • Provide high quality, real time measures, management information and business intelligence systems
  • Work closely with the Systems Programmers in the provision of high quality software systems
  • Provide exception reports to key stakeholders to enable continual data quality monitoring and improvement
  • Provide visualisations and reports for our core business end users
  • Involvement in a partnership project looking at using Al and Machine Learning tools to enhance our use of data and the services we offer to our customers


  • Experience of creating engaging dashboards with drilldown, allowing business stakeholders to analyse and improve performance
  • Strong Data Warehouse skills
  • Demonstrable experience of using query tools, SQL and software/scripting languages to deliver management information
  • Proven experience of using Tableau, Power BI and of ETL job creation/management
  • Experience of delivery and interpreting management information and business intelligence information in a performance environment
  • The ability to disseminate complex information to a wide audience including non technical senior management
