At Colt we have a key strategic change project which spans across both Colt DCS and Colt Core. As a result, we need a strong change communication professional to support both businesses as we move through the change.

A deep understanding of the dynamics of change communication is required. Along with and an ability to understand all workstreams communication requirements, and working with the Communication Workstream Leads, ensure the project is communicating across its audiences appropriately.

Key accountabilities

  • Development and execution of an evolving comprehensive communications strategy
  • Act as communications business partner to a number of workstream leads for this change programme
  • Understand the business challenges and opportunities of each workstream, and translate into impactful communications solutions
  • Plan and deliver creative, engaging communications in line with agreed strategies for internal and external audiences, as well as overarching regional communications strategies
  • Development and execution of comprehensive communications strategy
  • Effective financial management of agreed budgets
  • Ensure regular pulse check on internal and external satisfaction of the project through the use of a mix of reporting tools and meet programme KPI's
  • Develop and deliver high-quality, written content for internal and external audiences and channels working with wider Communications team
  • Support the Communications Directors with other regular updates and administrative support
  • Ability to translate complex change scenarios into easily digestible communication using latest channels
  • A creative communicator who understands both the needs of both internal and external messaging
  • Understands tonal differences across the audience mix

  • Maintain updated communication plan
  • Deliver communications to a high standard and in a timely manner
  • Maintain a solid feedback loop for both internal and external audiences and agreed SLAs
  • Effective financial management of agreed budgets

  • Understand the telecoms market structure (sub-segments, retail and wholesale).

  • Own the issues, from project beginnings through to presenting findings.
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence at Executive level.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree / MBA in business / technology preferred.
  • Exceptional English.
