A large, corporate company based in Preston City Centre is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join their busy team on a temporary basis for 6 months. Joining a busy team of 12, you will be responsible for managing the sickness of employees ensuring all employees are contacted who are currently off sick and correctly recorded on the multiple systems. This role requires someone who has studies CIPD or been in a previous HR Role

Your responsibilities:- Contacting employees via telephone to gain more information about their absence- Logging all information via a range of in house systems- Making decisions on absences and liaising with HR for advice- Dealing with confidential and sometimes difficult phone calls

Required Skillset:- Confident IT user- Excellent telephone manner- Ability to remain calm and facilities an effective outcome from a challenging conversation- Previous HR experience is desirable

Hours and Pay- Monday - Friday 9am-5pm- Up to £30,000 depending on experience- 6 month temporary role
