Consolidation Client Facing Statutory AccountingA high-growth Renewables business are currently seeking a Finance Manager to join their growing business in a client facing capacity.Bullet Points We are currently shortlisting a commercially focused client facing Finance Manager position within a high-growth Renewable Energy business who have an ever growing portfolio of clients/entities.The main focus of the role is to support the Head of Finance in line managing 6 direct reports, business partnering with your portfolio of clients, presenting financials to the board, overseeing/consolidating monthly management accounts and managing the audit process. The role will require an ability to form strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, partner with your ever growing portfolio of clients and to provide valuable input into business development and strategy to them.Key responsibilities include: Overseeing the team's preparation of monthly management accounts. Being the key business partner and first point of contact for any client related matters that needs escalation. Co-ordinating the annual budgeting process and ensuring board approvals Quarterly board reports and presentation of finance sections at board meetings Overseeing the preparation of the statutory accounts and ensuring consistency, quality and compliance with applicable accounting standard (FRS101, FRS102, IFRS). Preparation of consolidated annual accounts with applicable accounting standard featuring multiple operational entities. Active role in business reorganisation/change management and team resourcing Ad Hoc project work.Essential Skills / Experience: Qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with 2+ years post qualified experience. Exceptional commercial awareness and proven ability to produce insightful management information / dashboards Strong technical accounting skills Ability to communicate confidently with people at varying levels and build strong working relationships Excellent time management, prioritisation of workload ensuring deadlines are met Experience of managing a team of qualified /semi-qualified accountants and dealing with different personalities Ability to improve processes identify weaknesses drive continuous improvement agenda Ability to influence others as required Experience of different accounting package such as Agresso, SAP, SUN, SAGE or similar Advanced Excel skills
